Water tank cleaning service

It is the fact that water often gets contaminated at storage tank even if the supply from water treatment plant is safe. The storage tanks if not cleaned and disinfected regularly will provide ideal ground for bacteria and other pathogens to grow. Realizing this fact, The Water Act of Bhutan 2011 mandates all home/building owners to clean their water tanks periodically to ensure safe storage of water. The MWS in fact started with tank cleaning unit in 2009 and has planned to establish such unit in every Dzongkhag. We believed that if the provision of the Water Act is followed in spirit in cleaning and disinfection of storage tanks supplemented by mass public awareness campaign for safe / hygienic storage of water at every home, we will be one step nearer to meet SDG for safe water and it will also help private firm to grow and sustain creating employment opportunity.
