Mawongpa began in Thimphu with four staff providing water-tank cleaning services and developed into a broader water and sanitation company with capabilities in engineering, manufacturing, project implementation and long-term support.
Mawongpa Water Solutions Private Limited was established in 2009 in Thimphu. The company’s early work focused on professional water-tank cleaning and disinfection. As water and sanitation challenges became more complex, Mawongpa expanded into water treatment, wastewater treatment, filtration, storage, pumping, fabrication, installation and maintenance.
